If you’re local to the South Downs, the brilliant South Downs Food Festival is coming up on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of September 2024.
We will not be there in a business capacity but many of us will be attending with our families and you will see our garden furniture in the Stansted Park Farm Shop courtyard, so we would encourage you to pop along and pay them a visit.
About the South Downs Food Festival
This year the South Downs Food Festival falls on Saturday 1the 14h and Sunday 15th September, and it promises to be a weekend of fun, amazing food and great local shopping.
The South Downs Food Festival will be launched by Dame Prue Leith in September, bringing together food enthusiasts, chefs, food writers, campaigners and artisan producers for a weekend of gastronomic delight, stimulating talks, and delicious events. Scheduled for September 14-15, 2024, this inaugural festival will feature a rich array of food and drink from across the South Downs and beyond.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Stansted Park in the South Downs National Park, the festival promises a showcase of the finest produce from Sussex, Hampshire, and beyond.
Attendees will enjoy gourmet creations, locally crafted beverages, and a bustling “street” featuring over 40 artisan producers. Highlights include the ‘Stansted Arm’s Pub,’ cookery demo tent, live music, wood-fired catering, chef’s table experiences, picnics, and afternoon Tea on the Terrace.

About Stansted Park Farm Shop
You will find a mouth-watering selection of local food and drink vendors at this year's festival, including our good friends from Stansted Park Farm Shop, who as always will be a “showcase for local excellence”.
The Farm shop will be open throughout the weekend, and parking is not an issue, so come and have a wander around the festival and pop into their shop for some fab local, seasonal goodies.
